Project Engineering
The process of project engineering begins right after we establish a contact with a new customer and after the specific problem has been defined. After defining current and future needs of all possible customers we go on to the process of project engineering.
We can devide this process in three functional units:
1. Project definition
- customer's demands are elaborated individually
- system location definition
- can some parts of the new system be rented to/from other customers
- equipment definition
- optical system elements for all users (fiber optic cables and fiber optic cable accessories for every user
2. Project realisation
- cost evaluation
- definition of project stage
- the newest equipment specification
- equipment selection is conditioned by field requirements
- evaluation of the functionality of the project stages
3. Project evaluation
- review of the realisation of the customer's needs and demands
- control of every part of the new system
- cost control
- evaluation of the ratio between initial expenses and maintenance/upgrade expenses
